I am proud to announce that Tobias Vogl's project QuVeKS has won the InnoSpaceMastersAward of the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V.
In this project researchers of the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, the CiS Forschungsinstitut für Mikrosensorik GmbH, and the Fraunhofer IOF will develop integrated optical Quantum Processors for Encrypted Communication with satellites. The researchers combine their expertise in single photon sources, femtosecond written waveguides and singe photon detectors to create a flexible toolbox for quantum photonic circuits.
The award is given in the form of funding for PhD positions. If you are interested to join the team, drop a note.
